Terms and Conditions

AKT prides itself on producing the highest quality garment in the fastest possible turn around time. In order to ensure your merchandise arrives to you on time, we ask that you read and understand our general terms of service.

ART POLICY: AKT requires clients to provide all artwork within 5 business days of the order being placed. If artwork has not been received by the close of business on the 5th business day, your order may be bumped an additional 3 business days to ensure you receive product that you ordered.

AKT will provide you with mocks of each individual design that we are producing for you. These mocks will indicate PLACEMENT, DIMENSIONS, and recommended PANTONE COLORS. You will have 1 business day to provide approval on all mocks that we provide you. If approval is not received within 1 business day, your order could be subject to 1 additional business day bump for each day that we have not received artwork approval.

PRODUCTION WILL NOT BEGIN UNTIL ALL DESIGN MOCKS HAVE BEEN APPROVED BY YOU, PERSONALLY, TO ENSURE ALL CLIENTS RECEIVE THE EXACT PRODUCT THEY ORDERED.

UNDER RUN: Your order may experience an under run up to 2% for orders over 144 units or 5% for orders less than 144 units on printed goods. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND ordering more garments than needed for each size. Any production under runs will be applied to a credit on future orders. If you are providing shirts, please note that any future credits will apply to print-rates only.

TURNAROUND / DUE DATE: AKT averages a 10 – 15 business day + shipping turnaround time for all orders. If you have a deadline before this timeframe please let us know and we will do everything we can to try and accommodate your needs. Rush fees and expedited shipping costs may apply. Paying a rush fee does not guarantee a delivery date, your order will be treated with the highest priority to try and meet your deadline.

SHIPPING: AKT will do it's best to get your order to you as quickly as possible and on the date you ask, but we cannot guarantee it. AKT is also not held liable for delays or goods damaged in transit by the shipping company.

RETURN POLICY: If it is determined that you must return any product to AKT for inspection, the product must be returned within 2 business weeks after receipt of the goods to qualify for a re-print or refund. If items are returned after this timeframe, the shipment will be denied and the package will be sent back to you unless prior arrangements have been made.

If you have contacted us within 72 hours to make a return and we have agreed to cover the shipping costs, all items must be shipped using ground ship methods from UPS or FedEx, any other methods of shipping (3 day ship, 2nd day air, next day air, next day saver) will not be reimbursed to you.

OVERSIZE PRINTING: AKT is capable of printing up to dimensions of 17 inches wide by 23 inches tall. Printing at larger than our standard dimensions does come with the risk that the design will have print and ink coverage inconsistencies. We will do our best to limit these but no refunds can be issued for these goods.

ZIP UP HOODIES, SMALL SHIRT SIZES AND NON-STANDARD DESIGN PLACEMENT: Due to the nature of printing over seams, zippers and pockets, some inconsistencies may occur in registration and ink coverage. AKT will not be responsible for these inconsistencies. Returns or refunds will not be issued for these goods.

NON-STANDARD DECORATION METHODS: Unique garment decoration methods such as foil, discharge, bleach, water-based, appliqués and other specialty-inks can show various inconsistencies in look, feel and effect. Due to the nature of these decorating methods, no returns or refunds will be issued for these goods.
